Welcome Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We have immense pleasure to invite you to the “4th Annual conference of Neuropathology Society of India (NPSICON) 2019” which will be held in Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh from 15-17 February 2019. The NPSI is a young society of more than 160 members, whose primary objective is to promote and advance knowledge and research in the field of Neuropathology.

PGIMER can be briefly introduced as a sacred temple of learning. It is well-known for its high-quality patient care as well as excellence in medical research in India. The institute has an illustrious reputation for providing exceptional postgraduate and super-specialized training. PGIMER is also recognized for its infrastructure to host conferences and display memorable hospitality.

We have invited distinguished pathologists from India and abroad who will share their experience and knowledge with participants. NPSICON 2019 would offer a wonderful opportunity for you to interact personally with leaders in Neuropathology.  An attempt is being made to include those topics in the scientific programme which are not covered in earlier NPSICONs. The highlights of this conference would be live-discussion of glass slides on microscopes, CPC, quiz for trainees. Poster presentation and selected oral presentations will be encouraged and suitably rewarded.

Chandigarh, also known as the city beautiful, is first planned city of modern India. It is picturesquely located at the foothills of Shivaliks and is quite pleasant in February. There are plenty of wonderful hill stations near Chandigarh such as Shimla, Kasauli and Chail. Other attractive destinations are Manali – a busy tourist place in Himalayas, Amritsar – famous for golden temple and McLeodgunj– official residence of Dalai Lama.

We request you to step away from your day-to-day routine responsibilities, join us for NPSICON 2019 and refresh/revive/update your knowledge in Neuropathology.

We look forward for your whole hearted support and participation in large numbers.

Welcome to Chandigarh!
